Total contraindications

Total contraindications usually restrict treatment. There are some exceptions.

We can often work around local contraindications or offer an alternative therapy. Sometimes its possible to seek advice from a healthcare professional and proceed with the desired holistic therapy.

• Aeroplane flights within 24 hours

• Contagious or notifiable diseases

• Deep- vein thrombosis (DVT)

• Diarrhoea

• Drugs/ alcohol

• Fever

• Gangrene

• Haemorrhage

• Medical tests/ procedures

• Organ transplant

• Pregnancy (1st trimester)

• Unstable heart condition
